Cozy winter retreat
Just loved the magical vibe here! It snowed while we were cozying up by the log fire. The staff were super sweet, even sprayed our pillows with lavender! Our dinner was on point. smoked trout was a highlight! The place had this warm Christmas spirit, but the room was a tad hot at night. fab experience!

We had a fantastic time enjoying the gorgeous cocktail bar and the delightful harpist in the drawing room! The steam room was a perfect way to unwind after a long day, and the lovely picnic option made our adventure even better. One slight hiccup was a table mishap during dinner, but it didn't overshadow our wonderful experience. 😊

Had a cheeky mix-up with the afternoon tea billing due to info not passed on about gift vouchers, but they sorted it out quickly and with a smile.

Magical stay with delightful touches
I had a beautiful overnight stay where the charm of the Victorian decor truly stood out. The attention to detail was evident with thoughtful surprises like homemade shortbread and the cozy atmosphere created by roaring fires. The extensive breakfast options, particularly the whisky cream porridge brûlée, were delightful. I did notice that the carpets could be a bit worn in some areas, which slightly detracted from the overall experience.
